Just fitted the gr moto to my wife’s 390 duke. Fitted in half hour Max. Everything you need is included. Exhaust sounds great. I did remove the baffle. Quality is fantastic time will tell how it holds up. So far I’m very happy with the purchase.
Exhaust can arrived super quick. The price was mega cheap, as it was a very lightly used item, although it was virtually spotless. Gives my old 900 Honda Hornet a more modern twist. But the big plus is it sounds amazing and is street legal. What’s not to like!

Many full system exhausts are road legal in the UK if they are E-marked, include a baffle or DB killer, and retain a catalytic converter where required. Always check the product description and legal markings, as some systems are sold for track use only and may not meet UK noise or emissions standards.
In most cases, yes. A full exhaust system changes the airflow and backpressure of your engine, especially if the catalytic converter is removed. Remapping or flashing the ECU ensures optimal performance, smooth throttle response, and helps prevent engine damage from running too lean.
Fitment depends on the year of your Yamaha FZ‑09. Most exhausts are designed for specific generations, such as 2014–2020 or 2021 onwards. Always double-check compatibility in the product listing before purchase to ensure proper fitment.
Full system exhaust kits typically include the headers, mid-pipe, silencer, all required fittings, and mounting hardware. Installation can be done at home with standard tools, but if you're also remapping or removing emissions components, a professional install and tune are recommended.
Yes, a full system exhaust will usually make your bike louder than stock. Most road-legal systems include a removable baffle to keep sound levels within legal limits. For MOT, the bike must not be excessively loud and must not display "Not for road use." Also, any exhaust upgrade should be disclosed to your insurer to avoid policy issues.
